painting
I did the top two paintings this past month. The bottom one I did last year. But I thought I'd throw it on anyway. It feels good to be painting again. Hard to find time, only late at night and early in the morning. I'm a pretty amatuer landscape painter but I feel like I improve with each painting and I have this "self-talk" going on in my head and I'm always seeing things I could do better.Dear Taylor

Thanks for being amazing. I don't know how you do it. Sometimes I let stress get the better of me. And I have the easy job. I always know I can count on you to be happy and upbeat, to come home and have a smile and laugh for the kids. No matter what your day at work holds, you can get down on the floor and wrestle with the kids and make them all laugh.
I was driving home from Evan's preschool today, going to get his costume which I forgot, feeling like a bad mom for a number of reasons and just depressed in general. I was thinking how I wished I had a close friend at that very moment that I could tell everything to, someone that would lift me up and tell me everything would be OK. Right then you called. I didn't say how I was feeling and we just made some small talk but at the end of our conversation, you said, "Everything's going to be okay, hon." And as long as I have you, you're right. I love you.

Family pics you don't want to miss

I did this yesterday. It took me way too much time but mostly because I didn't have my pictures well organized. I'm working on it. There has to be an easier way to organize them all..it would help if my nexus worked right to upload them to picassa. Anyway, I thought it turned out kind of cute.
