Rocking my baby
I know this phase doesn't last long so I'm trying to enjoy every minute of it. Even the minutes when he's fussy and doesn't seem to have a reason for fussing. I love snuggling this little perfect guy. He's a lot of work is true. But he makes me so happy. He's brought so much joy to our family. I know that this right here, me rocking my little guy to sleep, this is happiness.

Science fair
I'm exhausted. Evan is very proud of his project and rightly so. I provided parental supervision and a little help but it is mostly his work. But all the parental supervising has been exhausting. 'Evan, what are you supposed to be doing right now? Evan, cut this out, glue this on, type your questions, etc. ' I'm just glad it's over.

Fake it till you make it
It's a cliche and it's so true. It even applies to forgiving someone. When you are so angry inside and it's all you can do to smile at that person who hurt you, sometimes that's all you need to do. I think God is OK with that. I think as long as we're making an effort, however much we don't feel it, He can make up the difference until we do. Sometimes we have to act like we feel love towards someone until we don't have to act anymore.
